How does it work?

A short summary of how the evaluation process works with BoardClic

Updated over 2 months ago

BoardClic is a very simple and time-efficient way to conduct a board evaluation (or any of BoardClic's other evaluation offerings) and will provide you, and your board, with valuable actionable insights.

How is it set up?

The creation of a new evaluation is done on the platform by the organisation's account administrator or owner. This includes the ability to view BoardClic's best-practice question formats, make changes to evaluations, add participants and select the evaluation's start date and deadline. More information on how to send an evaluation can be found here.

The recommended time to complete an evaluation is 7-10 days. This should give the participants a chance to find 30-40 minutes to submit their responses.

How does it work for a participant?

On the selected start date, the participants will receive an invitation email from BoardClic including a one-time link to participate in the evaluation. It is a consolidated email with all of the participant´s evaluation links if the participant has several evaluations to complete.

Below is an example of what the email invitation looks like.

By clicking "Participate", the participant will be guided to take part in the evaluation.

What happens when the evaluation is completed?

The evaluation will automatically close when the last participant has submitted their response(s). The report will immediately be available to the account owner and anyone who has been granted report access. The report on the platform is interactive and allows you to analyse the results effectively.

You can share the report by either inviting participants to the interactive online report or downloading it as a PDF or a Powerpoint under Edit & Export. More information about how to analyse and share your results can be found here.

As a next step, we recommend discussing the results with the participants and setting your actions. Perhaps in your next board meeting?

We recommend conducting a new evaluation within 12 months to keep track of your development and ensure that you are focusing on the right things.
