Role groups can help enhance how you analyse your final evaluation reports. By using role groups, you can view responses from multiple roles in one aggregated result. Just as our 'All roles' filtering option in reports averages all responses into a single output, a role group can average multiple roles, as shown below.
Want to see an average rating score for board members compared to executives? You can do so with a role group containing the chair and board member roles.
A commonly used role group is 'Full Board'. In this role group, we add roles that are considered part of the board such as the chair and board members. This will create a filtering option on the report's alignment/distribution graphs to view the average rating scores of only the chair and board members' responses.
Those that have access to the digital report can toggle between the individual roles, 'All roles' and any additional roles groups on the alignment/distribution graphs in the section drilldowns. The role group(s) will also be available for use when editing presentations in the presentation feature.
